Spring Pictures and chatting! model horses, photography, artist
The sun is finally out, the fresh smell is in the air, and little by little, small white flowers begin to push aside the barren soil. It truly amazes me how one can take pictures anywhere because each location has something different to offer. It’s only a matter of finding it.
I could not stay away from these flowers and as soon as I saw this little patch of dirt, I wanted to take out my models for pictures! This photoshoot lasted for fifteen minutes and in that time I shot thirty-five pictures. Of those I kept eleven photos which I have here to show you! I also shot a short for my YouTube channel. So many things can fit in a fifteen minute break when you calm down and concentrate on the peace around you! The channel is where I post more behind the scenes and I find that video content is better for showing off customs and highliting details. That still doesn't stop me from taking super detailed pictures of my work for the blog and I definitely want to make more posts like this in the future to complement the article based posts.
Without further a due, I completed this custom model horse in 2025 for an FEI hosted art competition! I was first to enter a model horse into the contest and I’m proud to have completed him after Laura Kraut’s horse, Dorado 212. My model is named Surviver and I have been meaning to take more pictures of him since his first ever photoshoot in Prague. He looks stunning up close as well as running on these paths! I love taking my custom models on outdoor adventures and the gorgeous pictures compensate the hard work I put in to pack them on every photoshoot.
Thank you for coming along on this photoshoot with me as well as for all the support! Enjoy these spring days for as long as they last!
