3 Model Horse Photography Prompts!
August 3, 2025
Hello everyone! I hope all of you are doing well! For this week I thought we should do another model horse photography prompts post as I find that following prompts is a really nice creative challange and I have a lot of fun with them!
POV picture. Take you photo from an angle as if you were the horse or from their point of view. This ca be applyed to indoor miniature photography too. Things like what a horse sees when they are being bridled, what poking their nose in the feed room may look like. You could even have the nose or the head of your model horse in the shoot to give a more clear indicator of what you were going for.
The back photo. Many people would say that having a picture where the horse isn’t facing you is ugly. However, you should not only have background variety but also pose variety. If done in a way that advantages your model, non frontal shots may add some needed interest.
Horse human connection. Something we can forget about is adding people near our horses. Not necessarily going towards the diorama, miniature scene style, but more towards the artistic, maybe figurative element.
Just a reminder that photography is a free subject, rules, prompts, ideas, they’re just guide lines. So if you feel like your picture looks good, go do you and don’t look back! (Unless, of course, you are trying to obtain a certain look or are just learning the fundamentals of photography, where the following of rules is very important.) But anyways, I hope these prompts brought some inspiration and creativity to your day!
