Chatting and a Catch Up! Returning to the Studio After a Week!
,Hello everyone! Today we’re gonna be talking about by beach trip and how I was away from the studio for a week. I’m also going to give you a bit of a preview of what I’m working on!
I’m actually in the middle of filming a vlog, it’s my 12th attempt so far. I just ended up scrapping the other attempts due to various reasons, so hopefully this one will work out and we won’t be down to 13 attempts :) It’s officially the summer, or so I now consider it, after consistently wearing sweaters during the evenings and then going off to Greece where it was very hot. The road trip was quite long, as it took around ten hours for us to go from Romania to our destination, but it was definitely worth it! We mainly spent our days at the beech, where I was mesmerized by how beautiful the waves looked! They varied from shades of turquoise to pink then orange during sunsets, and during our last night there the sea looked like a giant pool of melted metal because of the sun’s reflection.
This trip really helped my creativity as for the first time ever I completely shut off my brain and was able to focus on being with my friends in the present. I generally spend a lot of time thinking and planing ahead, knowing exactly what projects I will work on, exactly when, and that can add up to be tiring. I would really recommend giving yourself time to just sit, and doing things that bring you to that present moment, if you’re a daydreamer like me. For me, it’s being with my friends but for you it might be something else. Regardless, I’m now very excited to be back in my studio. I have a few new products to list in the store, so if you haven’t checked it out, now is a good time to have a look around!
During the trip I was able to take out my camera and photograph some of the little details that made me look around. I also shot pictures by the sea with the two models I took with me (the Schleich Percheron mare and the new Thoroughbred mare). The next post will feature the new pictures and I’m currently inspired to talk about the upcoming topic.
